A 130-Year Legacy of Ayurvedic Healing

The story of Pandit Ranjan Malam began when Vithal Gopal Pandit, a respected criminal attorney, formulated an Ayurvedic ointment named “Ranjan.” Recognizing its effectiveness, he officially registered the product in 1918.

1942

The Second Generation

The legacy was carried forward by Sitaram Pandit, and later his son Jagannath Pandit, who took charge at just 11 years old.

1958

Moving to Mumbai

Due to the need for better infrastructure, the business relocated to Mumbai (Mulund), establishing a strong manufacturing base.

Today

The Fourth Generation

Now led by Pramod Pandit, we continue to preserve the original quality and effectiveness of this 130-year-old remedy.

“To preserve the original quality and effectiveness of our family’s heritage through nature’s finest ingredients.”

A Century of Relief from Pain

Before modern clinics, healing lived in a grandmother’s pouch. As those traditions faded, Vithal Gopal Pandit—an Attorney Advocate in Criminal law—introduced “Ranjan” in 1894 to fill the void of that grandmotherly affection. Today, we carry forward this 132-year legacy with dedication and faith.

The ointment is officially registered as ‘Pandit’s Ranjan’. At a price of only eight annas, its reach already extended as far as Karachi.
